Cinco Cine Film Productions is an independent television production company that continues to produce award-winning dramas, documentaries and children television programmes. At the helm, is the owner and MD Nicole Hoey and at the heart is a dedicated crew committed to entertainment and education. The arena of independent film production is difficult and requires industry expertise to negotiate - we have been working successfully with government funding agencies such as New Zealand on Air, Ministry of Education, Te Mānga Pāho and Television New Zealand for over 21 years. Cinco Cine brings a fresh approach, based on its kaupapa of commitment to the Māori language and independent quality television shows.

Nicole Hoey’s company, Cinco Cine Film Productions, is a long established producer of quality award winning television programs. Nicole along with her dedicated crew collectively produce over 100 hours of television a year for various networks in New Zealand.

Nicole originally set up Cinco Cine (1987) as a production house to create and produce television commercials for both the domestic and international markets and winning awards with them both nationally and internationally.

STUDIO

Our studio comprises of three infinite white Cyc walls measuring 7m x 7m x 5m (Cyc wall height is 4.3m) with a painted floor and drive-in access via a 3m wide roller door.

The studio is an inverted L-shaped, measuring approximately 13m from the roller door to the face of the Cyc wall.  The roller door is 3m wide with a 4.2m wide x 8m long access point which links to the studio floor area - the ceiling panel height is 5.1m.

 Included is your own: kitchenette, bathroom, wardrobe and makeup facilities upstairs.

 Our studio is not sound proofed/sound studios/sound stages. We facilitate many sound recording shoots, but with limitations: there are adjoining offices, so music and operational noise is normal.

If repainting is required we will invoice after your booking $150 + G.S.T .

  • Lights including Skypanel SC60, Diva’s, Kinoflo Tegra, Fresnels
